After the number of recoveries exceeded new cases for the first time on May 14, more positive news comes – a new record of 433 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in Ukraine over the last 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, 17,858 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Ukraine, including 1,269 children and 3,512 physicians. A total of 4,906 patients have already recovered from coronavirus disease, while 497 have died from complications.

This was reported by the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health.

Over the past day, 528 new cases of infection were recorded, 21 people died.

As things stand, there are 12,189 outpatients, including 1,043 children and 2,869 medics. A total of 5,669 people had to be hospitalized, including 226 children and 643 physicians. 231 patients, including one child and 19 physicians, had to be connected to a ventilator.
