Over 3,700 COVID-19 Cases Reported in Ukraine. 392 New Cases in One Day

As of the morning of April 15, 3,764 cases of COVID—19 coronavirus infection in Ukrainehave been confirmed in the laboratory. That is, a total of 392 new cases were recorded in aday. 108 patients have died from complications caused by COVID—19, including 56 men and 52 women. 85% of the deceased werepersons aged 50 and over. At the same time, 143 patients have made successfulrecoveries.

As of the morning of April 15, 3,764 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection in Ukraine have been confirmed in the laboratory. That is, a total of 392 new cases were recorded in a day. 108 patients have died from complications caused by COVID-19, including 56 men and 52 women. 85% of the deceased were persons aged 50 and over. At the same time, 143 patients have made successful recoveries.

In total, 39,084 PCR samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Ukraine.

The distribution by region is as follows:

Cherkasy region - 105 cases (4 recovered);

Chernihiv region - 10 cases;

Chernivtsi region - 589 cases (21 recovered);
Dnipropetrovsk region - 74 cases (8 recovered);
Donetsk region - 12 cases (1 recovered);
Ivano-Frankivsk region - 356 cases (18 recovered);

Kharkiv region - 25 cases (1 recovered);
Kherson region - 41 cases (1 recovered);
Khmelnytskyi region - 34 cases (3 recovered);

Kyiv City - 612 cases;
Kyiv region - 230 cases (12 recovered);
Kirovohrad region - 192 cases;
Lviv region. - 152 cases (6 recovered);
Luhansk region - 4 cases;
Mykolaiv region - 14 cases;
Odesa region - 70 cases;
Poltava region - 27 cases (3 recovered);
Rivne region - 173 cases (8 recovered);
Sumy region - 77 cases (2 recovered);
Ternopil region - 287 cases (15 recovered);
Vinnytsia region - 241 cases (12 recovered);
Volyn region - 100 cases (3 recovered);
Zakarpattya region - 110 cases (12 recovered);
Zaporizhzhya region - 99 cases (12 recovered);

Zhytomyr region - 130 cases (1 recovered).

2,145 patients are undergoing outpatient treatment. 1,368 people have been hospitalized, 59 of them children.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol is unavailable.
