Ukrainian Parliament Registers Bills to Dismiss Health Minister Yemets, Finance Minister Umansky

Ukrainian MPs have registered a draft resolution on the dismissal of the Minister of Health Ilya Yemets and the Minister of Finance Ihor Umansky.

The corresponding bills appeared on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

The draft resolutions were initiated by Prime Minister Denys Schmyhal and have now been sent for consideration by the relevant parliamentary committees.

At the same time, draft resolutions on the appointment of the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov — the former head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, former deputy finance minister Serhiy Marchenko as the Minister of Finance and Olha Buslovets as the Minister of Energy and Environment have been registered in the Rada.

The agenda for the extraordinary parliamentary sitting on March 30 states that MPs should consider changes in the health, finance and energy ministries. Amendments to the 2020 state budget should also be considered at this session.
