According to the latest data provided by the Ministry of Health, on March 28, 8 people have perished due to the coronavirus, among a total of 311 confirmed cases in the country, though the Ministry of Health also reports 5 recoveries – 4 adults and 1 child.

93 new coronavirus cases were registered on March 27, the largest single day increase in Ukraine’s coronavirus history so far. The Center for Public Health noted that the lethal cases occurred in the regions of Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, and Sumy, joining previous lethal cases in the Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, and Ternopil.

Globally, as of March 28 morning, 597,000 confirmed cases have been registered globally, with 27,000 deaths and 133,000 recoveries.
