Ukraine's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade canceled the decision to take control of Ukrtransgaz, a public joint stock company subordinated to the Naftogaz oil and gas company.

According to a government website, during a meeting held by Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman a decision was taken to establish a working group to draft concrete steps to separate "Naftogaz" and to transfer control over the state holding company from the Ministry of Economics.

The working group will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister Volodymyr Kistion and will also include representatives of some ministries, "Naftogaz,” "Ukrtransgaz,” and also international organizations.

Earlier, Hromadske reported that "Naftogaz" and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development demanded to reconsider the decision of "Ukrtransgaz" transfer.
