The Sunday Show: Ukraine-Russia Gas Transit Negotiations and Protests in Georgia
29 November, 2019

This week in Vienna, for the first time since 2014, Ukraine and Russia held bilateral talks on the new gas transit agreement. The parties agreed to intensify negotiations both bi- and trilaterally with the participation of the EU. In the studio, we will discuss the prospects of the talks and the meaning of a possible gas transit contract. Our Sunday Show will feature Oleksandr Kharchenko, director of the Energy Industry Research Centre in Kyiv, and Roman Nitsovych, research director at DiXi Group.

We'll also have an interview with Margarita Akhvlediani, JAMnews editor in Tbilisi, to talk about the ongoing protests in Georgia.

On today's Show we will also show extracts from our interviews with the former principal deputy chief monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug, the author and journalist Peter Pomerantsev, as well as the new head of the Servant of the People party Oleksandr Korniyenko.
