The Sunday Show: Ukraine Leaves PACE

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the creation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. However, the parliamentarians did not have much time to celebrate, as the week kicked off with the debate on the question of Russia’s return to the organization. The majority voted in favor in light of Russia’s two-year pay freeze on the contributions. Ukrainian delegation protested and walked out, followed by the friendly states who returned home early to consult. This Sunday Show will feature experts who will provide their comments on the events in Strasbourg. Our guests include both members of Ukraine's delegation - Volodymyr Ariev and Mariia Ionova - and independent experts from Ukraine and beyond such as analyst Andreas Umland and Georgian MP Giorgi Kandelaki.
