Election Day is here, which means Ukrainians get a break from seeing familiar faces on their TVs. Time’s up, and we are about to find out who was more convincing in their promises. With three front-runners, there is considerably more intrigue as to, who will be reigning Europe’s largest country over the next five years. Incumbent Petro Poroshenko remains second in the latest polls. Volodymyr Zelenskiy still leads the race, whereas opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko takes bronze.
To discuss the latest on the Election, we are joined by Oliver Carroll from the Independent, Brian Bonner of Kyiv Post, non-resident fellow at The Atlantic Council Peter Dickinson, and Vita Dumanska from civil movement Chesno that advances fair election process since 2011.
