Even before its January 5 release date, the book was already sparking controversy and a clash between Trump and Steve Bannon, a former Senior Counselor to the president and one of the book’s most important sources.
However, “Fire and Fury’s” most important contribution may be the information it provides on the so-called “RussiaGate” investigation and perceptions of Trump within his own White House. Was Trump’s presidential campaign actually just a business venture? Were his alleged ties with Russia really about making money?
