Russia or EU: Where do Moldovans See Their Country Headed?

On February 24, Moldovans are taking to the polling stations to vote in the parliamentary elections, which many view as a choice between remaining loyal to Russia or taking a more European course. According to the opinion polls, the Socialist Party, previously led by President Igor Dodon, is in the lead with the more Euro—optimistic ACUM coalition and the Democratic Party right behind.
