Over 15,000 Ukrainians Confirmed To Have Coronavirus

15,232 Ukrainians have been confirmed to be infected with the novel coronavirus COVID-19 as of May 10, according to the Center for Public Health. 522 new cases were uncovered over the previous day.

Over 3,000 patients have recovered from the disease, while 391 have died, and 201 patients are currently experiencing assisted ventilation. 86% of lethal cases have been people over 50 years old.

Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated at a daily briefing that 7,301 people were tested over the previous day for the disease, and in total Ukraine has conducted 176,403 tests.

Over 4 million coronavirus cases have been detected worldwide.
