'Allying With Russia Is No Longer An Option For Moldova'
19 January, 2015

Ukraine's break with Russia means that it is logistically very difficult, if not impossible for Moldova to be an active participant of the Russia-backed Customs Union, said Vladislav Kluminski, the advisor to the Moldovan Prime Minister. Moldova, which borders Ukraine to the west, now no longer has direct land access to Russia via Ukraine as a result of deteriorating tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

Kulminski spoke with Hromadske International Sunday Show hosts Ian Bateson and Nataliya Gumenyuk via Skype from Brussels, Belgium.
