«Gazprom» Anti-Trust Case Could Have Huge Effect on EU Energy Relations

Jesper Pedersen is a Truman National Security Fellow and the Ronald D. Asmus Policy Entrepreneur Fellow with the German Marshall Fund focusing on transatlantic energy security. Jesper was a Partner with Rasmussen Public Affairs from 2013-2014. Before that he served as the Democratic Staff Director for the House Subcommittee on Europe and Eurasia from 2011 to 2013 in Washington DC, and as a policy staff member on the Committee during the 2007-2010 period. He has also served as Senior Advisor to the European External Action Service on a range of issues from foreign affairs to energy, trade, regional policy engagement, EU integration and natural resources. In the interview to Hromadske, he spoke about possible US strategies that would decrease EU dependency on Russian gas. He also spoke about effective EU energy policy, security risks for Ukraine, and the Russian-Chinese gas deal.
