Families Of Insurgents In Chechnya Are Punished- Nemtsova

After at recent insurgent attack in Chechnya, the country's Moscow-backed leader, Ramzan Kadyrov, vowed to punish the families of those insurgents involved in the attack, said Anna Nemtsova, a correspondent for Newsweek. Kadyrov made this announcement over Instagram, the photo-sharing smartphone application. Whereas in the past, Kadyrov had blamed families of insurgents, this time, he actually destroyed homes and threatened deportation, said Nemtsova. Nemtsova spoke with Hromadske International's Nataliya Gumenyuk during an interview in Kyiv on Dec. 13, 2014.
