COVID-19 Keeps Ukraine Apart, Prisoner Exchange Brings Others Together
16 April, 2020

Another prisoner swap took place this Thursday as was agreed at the latest Minsk Trilateral Contact Group talks on Donbas. Ukraine welcomed 20 people home from captivity in the unrecognized Luhansk and Donetsk “people’s republics”, whilst sending 14 unspecified persons the other way.

COVID-19 coronavirus continues to spread throughout the world with the occupied Donbas being no exception despite the local “authorities” being slow to react initially.

This week we will have human rights defender Oleksandra Romantsova and Oleksiy Matsuka, editor-in-chief of News of Donbas, who will speak about life and exchange under quarantine.
