CEO of the Russian manufacturer of Kalibr cruise missiles is still not targeted by sanctions

The bureau headed by Farid Abdrakhmanov produces Kalibr cruise missiles, which Russia uses mostly to destroy civilian objects.

"At a time when sanctions should, first of all, paralyze the defense and industrial complex of the Russian Federation, the heads of these enterprises are not punished and freely enjoy all the benefits of the Western world,"  says NAPC.

NAPC also unveiled the names of other Russian officials who are not sanctioned and are responsible for the production of weapons that kill Ukrainians:

  • Sergey Pitikov, CEO of Machine-Building Design Bureau (​​KB Mashinostroyeniya), which developed the Iskander ballistic missile system;
  • Igor Churbanov, CEO of the Votkinsk Machine Building Plant, which produces Tochka U tactical ballistic missiles;
  • Denis Paltsev, managing director of Arsenyev Aviation Company "Progres" named after N.I. Sazykin, manufacturer of Ka-52 attack helicopters, known as Alligator;
  • Sergey Korotkov, a member of the board of directors of the company that owns the Novosibirsk Chkalov Aviation Factory — manufacturer of Su-34 front-line bombers.

Missile attack on Vinnytsia

Russia  attacked  the crowded center of Vinnytsia around 10:45 a.m. local time on July 14. The city was attacked with  Kalibr cruise missiles  from a submarine in the Black Sea.

Russian attack on Vinnytsia killed  23 people, including 3 children, 5 injured people are in critical condition, 42 people are considered missing, reports the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as of 7:40 p.m. local time.
