The Bloodiest Days of the Maidan Protests. February 18-20, 2014. Kyiv, Ukraine

Over the span of three days, 73 civilians and 11 law enforcement officers were killed during protests in Kyiv's city center. This video shows scenes from those days, Feb. 18-20, 2014, when clashes between police and protesters took place. Members of the police are accused of using illegal arms against civilians who stood up against President Viktor Yanukovych whose draconian anti-protest laws that were passed during the Maidan protests further agitated the situation. People, who took an active part in the Euromaidan and were killed for it, are named the "Nebesna Sotnia" (Heavenly Hundred).
