U.S. Is 'Essential' For Dealing With Russia - Carl Bildt

”I think the Americans are essential when it comes to maneuvering Moscow into different directions” states Carl Bildt, former Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs, referring to recent developments regarding the meeting between the Nuland, the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State with Surkov, the Russian President’s representative.

Bildt is currently a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Europe and Chair of the Global Commission on Internet Governance.
