Nadiya Savchenko's First Day Of Work In Ukrainian Parliament

Nadiya Savchenko, a Ukrainian pilot recently pardoned in Russia and extradited to Ukraine, is also a member of the Ukrainian parliament. Now she shares her impression of work in the Verkhovna Rada.

"I have a feeling that MPs are as lazy as scholars. We will do anything not to work. This impression is weird. Maybe it's because I saw them on TV but it seems that I had been here and have worked here for so long. I'm already oriented. This doesn't frighten me at all. For me, it's harder to come to the people than to stay here with them. It's ok for me here", Savchenko says.
