Recovering The Money: Yanukovych's Life Of Luxury

Maxym Opanasenko, who works with a group of Ukrainian investigative journalists from Slidstvo.Info and Hromadske, examined what the Ukrainian Attorney General's office has done with the evidence gathered over a year ago against Yanukovych. The documents show that millions of dollars were siphoned off and continue to be siphoned off from public funds to companies owned by Yanukovych and his close associates. Despite overwhelming evidence of corruption, little has been done to prosecute the individuals involved, or to recover the stolen money. This is by large due to the inaction of the Ukrainian state prosecutors. // Maxym Opanasenko
