Leveling Down The Ukraine Issue Is A Mistake - Barroso

“I think very important reforms have been going on and I want to congratulate the Ukrainian authorities for its commitment” the former President of the European Commision, tells Hromadske in Davos, “I think this government is certainly the government that has made more reforms in the Ukrainian history.” Yet despite his optimistic statement, Barroso also fears that as “the eyes of the European Union are more turned to Syria, to international terrorism, there is a risk that the Ukraine issue goes down in the agenda of Europe and that will be a mistake.”
