James Kirchick Reveals To Us True Nature Of Russia's Propaganda
28 April, 2015

The Russian government’s international media, such as RT and Sputnik International, aren’t propaganda because they ignore contemporary events in Russia, says The Daily Beast contributor and pundit James Kirchick.

Unlike conventional propaganda, which extolls the virtues of a particular system, Russia’s international media message instead focuses on the purported flaws of its adversaries. Russian networks such as RT don’t extoll Putin’s system, but instead bash the West and portray the United States and other Western powers as in an irreversible decline.
