Information Ministry Official Resigns Over Mistreatment of Journalists

Former Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Tetiana Popova resigned from her post in the Ministry of Information on Aug. 3. She wrote on her Facebook: ‘I don't agree with attacks on journalists and attacks on freedom of speech by political organisations and individual political officials. I can't tolerate the absence of proper reaction to that kind of attacks.’
