While Ukraine remains committed to the peace process, it is important that the country enters negotiation from a strong, rather than weak, military position, said Oleksandr Lytvynenko, the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine during an interview on Hromadske International's Sunday Show. For this reason, it is essential that the Ukrainian government continues to supply and fortify current military demarcations along areas currently held by separatists in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Part of fortifying current locations is responding to fire from separatists, said Lytvynenko.
