Eastern Ukraine Avdiivka Protests Against The Escalation In Their City

Around 400 people came to the city centre of Avdiivka (where approx. 35,000 people live) in the Ukraine—controlled part of the Donetsk region, to protest against establishing a new checkpoint within the city fearing more escalation in the region where the ongoing war has already claimed more than 7,000 in the last year.

The civil-military administration of Avdiivka denies any intention to put a new checkpoint in the city.
