This Is What An East Ukraine Village Looks Like After Shelling

On 26 January, 2015, Hromadske journalists visited the village of Kalaus located on the front line in the Luhansk region, Eastern Ukraine. 
The village has suffered regular grad attacks from both sides and just 40 minutes before Hromadske team arrived, it came under fire again. 
The villagers they met were in shock and at a loss as to what to do. One elderly woman broke down in tears as she surveyed the damage to her house. With nowhere else to go, she and her husband will now be forced to live in their damaged house.
