Those who arrive in Mariupol are registered at the Center of Social Assistance for internally displaced persons and victims of shelling. Here they can get vouchers for warm clothes and rations, and professional psychological help. Most of the people were evacuated while under the separatist fire. “My children are scared. I want them to know what to do in case something happens to me”, says a mother of two. Some of the IDPs live with their relatives, other have been placed with host families in Mariupol.
