On the temporary border with the occupied Crimea, the Mejlis (leaders) of Crimean Tatar people continue to blockade the peninsula.

On November 21st, 2015 near the village of Chaplinka, Kherson region, power transmission lines that provide electricity to the peninsula were blown up in a second attempt. That evening there were confrontations between the participants of the civilian blockade and soldiers from the National Guard of Ukraine.

After that, grounded pillars were blown up and Crimea was left without electricity. Hromadske visited the accident site.
