Alevtina Kahidze's drawings are meant to show the real life in the war-torn zones of Ukraine. Her mother lives in the occupied territories, and they communicate regularly about what her feelings and thoughts on her situation are. Alevtina’s art has taken her many places, and recently, she made a trip to St. Petersburg to reenact the scenes of Maidan on the central square.
