Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine has held nine prisoner exchanges with Russia. During this time, 324 Ukrainians returned home, according to the Security Service of Ukraine.

The exchanges took place, in particular, thanks to the work of the Joint Center for the Search and Release of Prisoners, which operates under the patronage of President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The SBU has a hotline for those who want to report the fact of illegal imprisonment or captivity of Ukrainian citizens:

+38 067 650 83 32;
+38 098 087 36 01.

The last exchange of prisoners took place on April 30. Then 14 Ukrainians were released: seven military and seven civilians. One of the military women was 5 months pregnant.

Reintegration Minister Iryna Vereshchuk stressed that day that from now on, the Ukrainian authorities will refuse to hold swaps with Russia without women on the list.
