As a result of a major road accident involving five cars, two Ukrainians were killed and seven more injured. This was reported by Hungary's Agria TV company.

The five-car pileup occurred in the early hours of February 7 on the M3 motorway near the village of Kál, 105 km east of the Hungarian capital Budapest.

According to another Hungarian outlet, BPI Autosok, the first two cars collided on the highway leading to Budapest. Nobody was injured as a result of that collision. Then, a minibus bearing a Ukrainian numberplate crashed into the two cars, which was followed by even more cars joining the pileup.

One Ukrainian was pronounced dead at the scene, while another died in the hospital. Seven more Ukrainians remain hospitalized with various degrees of injuries.
