Hromadske is a vibrant start-up, founded by unique team of Ukrainian and foreign journalists, media-professionals to fill the huge gap when it comes to deep, at the same time easy to digest explaining of the Ukraine crisis, most dramatic and violent geopolitical drama of the last decades.

Hromadske International is managed out of Kyiv headquarters by a team led by Natalie Gumenyuk and Maxim Eristavi. The editorial team is advised by an advisory board made up of a number of prominent Ukrainian and international journalists.

One of the leading faces of Ukrainian journalism and one of the co-founders of Hromadske.TV. As a journalist and commentator specializing in foreign affairs and conflict reporting, she has covered major political and social events in around 50 countries. Nataliya teaches on the Global Media Course at the Master Programme of Kyiv Mohyla School of Journalism. She holds an MA in Global Journalism, has studied at Orebro University, Sweden and Institute of Journalism (Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University). The New York Times called Nataliya “a spiky-haired bundle of energy”.

An influential English-speaking journalist based in Ukraine. A multilingual news anchor, journalist and new media professional with over a decade of experience in global newsrooms, Maxim covered the Ukrainian Revolution of 2013-2014 from the very first day. Essential Twitter source for Ukraine, according to Mashable, Bild, CTV and The New York Times. Maxim specializes in new media, LGBTI and freedom of speech rights, breaking news coverage. He has featured as contributor to: BBC, CNNi, Al-Jazeera America, HuffPost TV, The Daily Beast, CJR Magazine, The New Republic and Politico among others.

An independent journalist based in Kyiv. Since the beginning of Euromaidan protests, she has collaborated with various Italian broadcast media, including RaiNews, Mediaset group, RaiRadio3, as well as writing for the Croatian newspaper Jutarnji List. She worked previously as a foreign news correspondent for the Ukrainian television outlets Ukraina TV, Inter TV, K1 TV. She holds an MA degree in Journalism from the National University of Kiev (2008) and an MA in Political Science and International Relations from the University in Bologna (2012).
